Services

We aim for a balance between more traditional services and more informal and/or more progressive services. We are open to suggestions for different kinds of service. Most services last around 40 minutes. If there is a 5th Sunday in the month, it is likely to be either an invited speaker or a service arranged by the worship group.

1st Sunday of the month at 10:30 am:

Usually an invited speaker and, when possible, we have communion.

2nd Sunday of the month:

Shared breakfast from 9:45 am in the old school room followed by a service in the chapel starting at 10:30 am.

3rd Sunday of the month:

Sharing service. This is a short, informal service in which we invite anyone in the congregation who wants to, to share something
that is meaningful to them on a particular theme. Themes can range from topics such as people who have influenced your faith to the significance of flowers or particular poems, art or music. This is followed by coffee and chat in the old school room.

4th Sunday of the month:

Holy Shed. This is a thoughtful and thought-provoking talk by Dave Tomlinson, author of “How to be a bad Christian... and a better human being”, downloaded or streamed from the internet (with permission).
